The ratio is calculated as: Asset Turnover Sales Capital Employed We have already come across both sales and capital employed in the two earlier ratios ans S0 the calculation is simply: E6000 - 1.76 times. E3400 Asset turnover is normally expressed as " X times - so that we can say here that the company's assets are being used to generate 1.76 times their value in sales revenue.
